Refugees arrive at Camp Cristia in Romania
Southeastern alumnus, evangelist, missionary, and Christian camp founder Pavel Clipa says, “God is doing some amazing things around here. This van load of ten refugees left Ukraine for Poland…via Moldova and landed at Christian Camp Cristia in Voronet, Romania. And, we are thankful to our great God for directing them here to the Camp God gave us to use for Him. Today, Camp Cristia is a Fair Haven for refugees. But, as we look at it, Camp Cristia has always been a Fair Haven for refugees (Acts 27:8). Our camp is a place where people who are lost and at war in their soul can run to find rest, safety, and salvation through Christ. Please pray for us as we and other believers serve in this part of God’s Kingdom.“
Pavel Clipa
Missionary/Evangelist/Camp Cristia Founder/Ambassador
Pavel Clipa was born in Romania and attended Southeastern College from 1995 to 1997. Pavel founded Camp Cristia in Romania which is one of the most effective and beautiful Christian camps in the world. Pavel travels the world declaring the good news of Jesus. Remarkably, he finds a way to sit with foreign leaders and dignitaries and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. His family was united with Richard Wurmbrand through the persecution that took place in the mid-1900’s. Sadly, Pavel’s father was martyred by the communist regime of Romania during the persecution.
