11.15 Institution ensures that throughout the program of study students acquire increasingly sophisticated skills in evaluating the quality of information sources appropriate to their field of study and the level of the degree program.
Student knowledge and mastery is very much a degree-specific process. In order to ensure that individual courses meet the requisite skills necessary, the Institution requires all course syllabi to meet the following Institutional standards: course goals and objectives, learning activities.
Information literacy instruction is provided by the Student Orientation program which includes instruction from the Academic Dean, Director of Student Life, and the Director of Library.
All bachelor level courses require EN 102 which focuses upon writing and research skills.
