15.7 Maintains appropriate faculty documentation. (Faculty Documentation)
a. Includes official transcripts, contracts, evaluations, professional development data, and other pertinent materials in all faculty files.
b. Archives files of all faculty who cease to be employed for at least five years from the last date of employment.
c. Documents that faculty contracts are clearly written and clearly specify assignments, compensation, and period of assignment.
The Institution maintains files for each of its faculty members, full-time and part-time. The files can include resumes and transcripts. Procedures for Faculty Evaluations have been made and incorporated into the Faculty Handbook. Formal Faculty Evaluations but have not been implemented. A Professional Development Policy has been incorporated into the Faculty Handbook. Professional development, although encouraged has not been documented.
The active and inactive faculty employment files are stored in an employee file cabinet located in the College Office. They are not stored electronically. All files have been kept of former faculty employees, and faculty files (past and current) will be kept indefinitely.

Plan of Action:
Contracts have been developed for full and part-time (adjunct) faculty. We plan to have these approved by the Board of Directors and offer those approved contracts to all full and adjunct faculty.
A Professional Development Policy has been incorporated into the Faculty Handbook and will be implemented going forward.
Plans for faculty evaluations have been made and incorporated into the Faculty Handbook.
