16.8 Institution maintains student records permanently, securely, and confidentially with provision for a secure backup of all files.


Southeastern maintains both electronic records as well as paper files containing Student Records. The paper files are maintained in locked file cabinets located in the Records Storage room in the Admissions office. This office is secured by locked doors. In 2010 the Institution migrated to the Populi college management system from our own Microsoft Access program (written by Dr. Baer). All student enrollment, grade, and degree information which was in electronic format was brought over during that transfer. Currently, all active student academic records are maintained in Populi. The student records existing before the availability of electronic storage remain in a hardcopy format.
