16.9 Institution offers student academic advising and career counseling appropriate to its approved programs.
Upon their first enrollment, all students are assigned to a faculty advisor in the student’s major field. The faculty advisor provides academic counseling and assists the student in selecting the proper courses to complete the academic program in which he/she is enrolled.
Different members of the faculty and administration give career counseling in their areas of expertise. The students have the opportunity to participate in job fairs hosted on-campus by the Teacher Education dept. and attended by local Christian School administrators who are seeking teachers for their programs. Our pastoral, youth leaders, missions, and sacred music students are introduced to pastors and missionaries around the globe through our Spring Conference, as candidates for positions in their field.
