19.1b The Assessment Committee has been formed and began meeting on a regular basis when the college began pursuing TRACS accreditation. It will be gathering and evaluates data from a variety of assessment instruments and has and will be creating the instruments required to meet the goals of the Comprehensive Assessment Plan. The Comprehensive Assessment Plan of the college is in the process of being fully implemented, so the assessment data has not been used to revise the Comprehensive Assessment Plan. One step that has been taken by the Assessment Committee, in light of the assessment data gathered in the years past, was to revise the student evaluation of classroom instruction survey. This new survey has been submitted to the Academic Committee for acceptance.
19.1c The Comprehensive Assessment Plan has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors for 2016-2017. This is our first comprehensive Comprehensive Assessment Plan, but it is our intention to annually revise and present it to the Board of Directors annually for approval.
