21.6 Provides appropriate training and support to allow faculty, staff, and students to make effective use of library and information resources and instructional and information technology.

Students are first introduced to the services and resources of the library through a Library Handbook posted on the college website. Freshmen and first time students are encouraged to contact the librarian for a tour and instruction to available services and resources. Individualized instruction in the use of the library’s catalog and database is available to the students and faculty upon request.
